Fat Of The Apple filter was an augmented reality project in which I created an Instagram filter utilising illustrated album artwork, photoshop, blender, Spark AR. I used photoshop to cut out and export the parts of the artwork in slices, I then took those slices into Blender to create a 2.5 D version of the artwork. I then took those slices into Spark AR and created a plane tracking filter that would react to seeing a specific artwork and reveal the 2.5 version of the artwork.
The goal was to promote the clients album to his growing fanbase on social media.
Also experimented with 3d character modelling and animation with the view to make the character walk out through artwork.
